I'm a mix-breed pomeranian stud who lives with my family in a beautiful small town in the Philippines. Experts classify my kind as that belonging to the group considered as toy or lap dogs.My family treats me like I’m a human. They talk to me (lol, I wish I could talk back to them!), play with me, sleep with me, even get mad at me, like I’m one of them. Makes a cute dog feel great!I'm very loyal to my family and extremely affectionate with them. I love them very much, to the point of jealousy.I was born on April 8, 2003. I guess that makes me young by the usual standards… :-)By nature I am a delightful, happy and proud cute dog. I have a lively character and I love to play around. My family also tells me I’m intelligent. Well, I guess so… hahaha!But I can be sensitive sometimes and have a temper, too. I turn mean when someone disturbs me while I’m having my meal, or when somebody completely unknown to me steps into our home no matter how well known they are to the rest of the household members.Although my kind is generally considered a toy or lap dog, we also make for good watchdogs: brave, courageous cute dogs that make the house difficult to break.Quick Facts

Potential Ailments:
Although the Pembroke has a low susceptibility to illness, it has a tendency to get overweight which can cause the dog to suffer back and joint problems. Responsible breeders are also conducting screenings for hip and retinal dysplasia.

The Corgi Pembroke requires proper training and socializing during puppyhood. Basically an intelligent type of dog who feels perfectly in his element in the face of a challenge, the Corgi Pembroke is a highly trainable canine. But make no mistake about it, he can be very dominant when he has the chance to become one.
Character and Temperament:
An intelligent and energetic type of little dog, the Corgi Pembroke needs to be properly socialized and trained while still a puppy. The ideal pet of an active human family, the Corgi Pembroke has a high sense of loyalty and obedience to his owners. They are known to get along quite well with children as long as they are handled with care and respect.
